Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan) is the child of Wayne David Cardellini (a successful businessman). She is of Italian (from her paternal grandpa), Irish (from her mother), German, English, and Scottish descent. Linda was the youngest child of four in San Francisco Bay, California. When she was 10 her interest in acting after she performed in a Christmas school play. She performed in school plays and in local theatres. Linda went to Saint Francis High School, Mountain View in California. Lily James is a stage name given to Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born on April 5, 1989. She started her career as an British actor in Just William (2010), a British television series that aired on British television. Her breakout moment came in the year 2015 when she was cast in the leading role in Cinderella the film of fantasy. She had previously played Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period series Downton Abbey. James was later cast as the Countess Natasha Rostova in the television version of War & Peace (2016) as well as starring in various films. These included the action-packed film Baby Driver (2017), the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017), The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018) as well as The Dig (2021), and musicals Mamma Mia! There We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). Her portrayal of Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 earned her Golden Globes and the Primetime Emmy Awards.
