Anamaria Marinca, a Romanian-born actress. She was awarded the British Academy Television Award Best actress for her Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. French, German English fluently. She also received several prizes for her performance in the film 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days a Romanian Art Film. In 2007, her performance as a character in Cristian Mungiu's Romanian art film 4 luni 3 semaines si 2 zile (4 months, 3 weeks and two days), won both the Palme d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival 2007 and two more awards. The Cinema Prize for the French National Education System as well as the FIPRESCI Prize. Youth Without Youth, a Francis Ford Coppola movie, was also a major part of her career. She played Yasim Awar in BBC's 5-episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca was also a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. Later she played the role of Irma's German Aunt in Fury, which was released in 2014.
